4 months already!

Big Blue Eyes

April has been bringing warm weather and Mama has been taking me outside everyday. Now that I am 4 months, I can sit up for a few seconds on my own, I can turn over onto my back from my tummy, I grab my toys and place them in my mouth, I talk babble and squeek, I also giggle and gaze into moms eyes like a love sick puppy. I constantly want to suck and bite things and drool on everything. I love my johnny-jump up, it is my favorite distraction for me and Mama.

Mom likes to garden with me-she learned this trick in the Peace Corps. She is really busy trying to get blueberry bushes planted, lots of veggies, and flower beds planted on her days off. I spend time in my swing, my johnny-jump-up, my stroller or my basinet basket. She erects a shade for me so I stay out of the sun while I nap outside listening to birdsongs and watching the laundry blow in the wind. Like Mama and Daddy, I love being in the garden, and I can't wait to eat the baby food she is growning! Did I mention that I love watching

My first cooking lesson.

I am working really hard to roll over theses days. So far I have done it a few times, but each time it surprises me.

Special Daddy time.
I get to spend early mornings with Dad. He wakes me up and lets mom sleep in-this makes everyone happy. Then when he gets home from work, he plays with me and smothers me with kisses.

Spring is on!

Birth class reunion and ice cream social! Left to right: Brook and Baby Levin, Kelly and Baby Jackson, Lorah and Baby Lillian, me and Mom! We had lots of fun comparing sizes, birth stories, and bobbing heads while mom and dads ate ice cream! I can't wait until the next reunion.

3 months!

I am almost 12 weeks old now. March as been really cold, but mostly sunny, so we go outside almost everyday for walk! My new tricks include making lots of noise, smiling and giggling, standing on my feet when mom or dad helps out, holding toys to my mouth and holding my pacifier. Oh, and I am teething which make me scream and cry from 8pm-12am almost every night. I chew on everything, drool all the time, and my cheeks get red. Mom and Dad really enjoy those hours of the day with me!

The biggest change is that mom is back to work! She works from home 2-3 days a week which is nice so she can feed me when I need it. I have a really nice baby sitter named Heidi who comes over to watch me while Mom works. On Tuesdays when Mom is at Town Hall, Heidi walks me downtown so Mom can nurse me in the office. I really like those days when I get out of the house.

3 months old, just waiting for the snow to melt.....

2 Months Old and More

I can't believe I am 2 months already. After a bad chest cold I am only weighing 13.5 lbs! But I feel a lot better after the breathing treatment Dad gives me.

I got to meet my cousin Dillon, Aunt Kassio and Uncle Mike in Spokane recently.

Mom and Dad are sure enjoying lots of visitors that come to cook for them and play with me!

I sleep best when mom swaddles me.

I love being cradled to fall asleep.

I am starting to get attached to Mom nowadays and love being skin to skin with her!

8 Weeks Old

Current Stats: 13 lbs 8 oz. & 24 inches long.

Quin is above 90 percentile in weight and height for his age.

He had his first cold lately - but he's feeling better now. He likes to sleep in 3 - 4 hour stretches, which his parents greatly appreciate. He is also a dedicated Phish phan thanks to You Tube!

Bath time

Quin seems to enjoy being in the water. I know his parents love watching him be in the water. We're glad to finally have a video uploaded for you to enjoy!

13 pounder

Only 5.5 weeks after being born, Quin is already tipping the scales at 13 pounds. He has put on the inches as well. This recent photo of him attached to mommy shows just how big the "little" fella has gotten. Just thinking about carrying him hurts my back!
