Mama and me hanging out enjoying the blooming homestead Methow roses. The word is that these yellow roses were brought to the Methow by a homesteader and quickly spread to neighbors throughout the valley. They have stood the test of time and are perfectly adapted to our cold winters. The cuttings have been passed down through the generations to many homes in the valley and our house is lucky enough to have some! They sure make Mama smile...and when she smiles, I smile!
