I am really excited for Halloween. I got to dress up as Eeyore yesterday for the fall festival, below. That was fun but Mama has another costume in mind for the real day. This month has been really exciting with all the changes in weather and colors. The garden is no longer, with all the veggies dried, canned or stored in the root cellar that Dada made in the basement where the old coal shoot is. The raised beds make for a really fun dirt pile to play in. Dad has been busy hunting and fishing this fall and took a new job with the Yakama Nation. He'll be working to restore Salmon runs in the Methow River, which will keep him close to home all the time. Now Mama can settle in more to the Methow Valley and put down more roots since we won't be heading over to Seattle for graduate school anytime soon.
In the beginning of October my mom took me to New Mexico! You can see some photos from our trip below. It was an exciting trip and I got lots of time with Grandma Gina and Grandpa Larry. Dada stayed home to work and clean up the garden.
I am leaving to Spokane today to visit my new cousin William Riggs Schrock who was born yesterday. You can follow his photos at www.schrocksblog.blogspot.com. I can't wait to meet him!
